qDot decides that a joke he's been throwing around for a long time, "SexQuake", needs to see the light of day outside of my mind. The idea was to buy the VR Innovations Virtual Sex Machine, hack the protocol, and then make a Quake plug-in that would set the pump speed in response to some game metric, like kill score.
He need $400 to get the machine. Of course, he didn't have $400. A donation drive was started. Also: outright begging.
He got $40.
With this cash and domain idea from The Reverend Scott Motherfucking Crawford, The Ride, he registered slashdong.org/.net/.com.
And idled on it for 2 years.
